And now, more than a year later...
I'm now a full-time student at Portland State University, while still working part-time for Pet*o as a dog trainer. I'm happily currently training another trainer and am excited to get him up and running.
I've got a prototype I'm still finishing up for a pony plush pattern, although the current draft is working more towards Stallions than mares, and may be able to be modified more easily towards Alicorns. *shrug* The severed head is currently sitting on my bookshelf.
Otherwise, just a busy busy busy person. It's very different being on a quarter system versus a semester system. Haven't made any cosplays recently. Just don't really have any
Kumoricon and the aftermath~
So, figure I might as well put a new journal post up here.
I had an absolutely LOVELY time at Kumoricon, even if most of the enjoyment didn't necessarily come from the con itself. Spent a week up in the Portland area of Oregon with friends I'd made at Fanime this year. It was a much needed break from life in general, and it was so much fun to see them again.
I actually really liked the area, so much so, that I'm looking at transferring to a school up there next year when I transfer out to try and finish up my Junior and Senior year of college. But, of course nothing is that simple, so now I have to convince my father that it's a worthwhile

Yeah, the whole empty spot where my journal would be was bugging me, so I decided I needed to at least post SOMETHING.
Playing Catherine this week since it just came out. It's friggin HARD. I actually got to a spot where I'm stuck. >_> So I restarted this afternoon, skipping through cutscenes and the like just to get more practice in on the earlier levels. Biggest piece of advice? USE MULTIPLE SAVE SLOTS. They offer them to you for a reason! >_< Also, the Rapunzel game helps a bit, since it's NOT timed, just limited by your number of moves.
Other than that, still gotta finish my two cat plushies for a friend, just not feeling the creative s
